Job Description

Mission for Business Development Intern

Improve business results for small business owners by teaching them the value of data-driven decision making. Maximize the number of small businesses that benefit from OZÉ by recruiting new users.

Outcomes

  1. Engage 40-60 users per day

    1. Participate in engagement and reengagement campaigns to increase app usage levels and retention rates

    2. Conduct high volume prospecting (40- 60 activities per day) to qualify leads through calls, WhatsApp messages, emails, meetings, and social media

  2. Convert/Upgrade 5 users per week to Premium, Pro, or Web App subscription

    1. Follow up on qualified leads and encourage them to upgrade

    2. Work closely with sales and marketing team members to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies and create marketing and sales materials

  3. Actively contribute to OZÉ’s digital presence with at least 3 social media posts per week and 2 blog posts (or other content piece) per month

    1. Create awesome content that helps OZÉ build a hyper-engaged audience, beating engagement metrics of comparable companies

    2. Help OZÉ maintain a consistent digital presence to increase customer touch-points

  4. Assist BDAs in attending or hosting monthly special events targeting small business owners and/or entrepreneurship support organizations with an average attendance of 50 people

    1. Maintain a download rate of >90% of small business attendees of OZÉ Workshops

    2. Generate at least 50 leads per event attended

  5. Be a team player

    1. Maintain internal eNPS score of 50% or better from your colleagues

    2. Participate in all quarterly 360 feedback sessions

    3. Continuously learn by participating in 3 relevant webinars or by reading 3 relevant books and sharing what you learned with the team at monthly lunch & learns and/or through a blog post.

    4. Work with product and tech teams to develop and implement product improvements
